Please excuse me for not agreeing with your plea for mercy. The guy is making $14M this year and produces like a minimum guy...the few times he's on the court.

The sooner his sorry arse is out of here the better.

Id excuse you for not agreeing if your reasoning made any sense.

I really hope the guy comes back soon and helps us. Sure he isn't worth the money but he can definitely help this team. I fear that he will play for a couple of weeks and then re-injure it and be out for the season. Good luck sweet prince!

This doesn't really deserve its own thread but there was an article about Luke Babbitt being on top of the NBA leaderboard in 3PT percentage

LINK

While the 3PT percentage is impressive the most interesting thing I took from it was this quote:

quote:

“Obviously we have a solid core with Jrue, Anthony, Omer (Asik) and Tyreke,” Babbitt said of his fellow starters. “That small forward position needs to come in and be solid, not try to do too much, not try to take over the game. Just be solid, defend and knock down shots.”

1) Babbit does not include EG in the "core"...maybe thats just because he's hurt right now either way I found it interesting

2) I'm glad Babbitt sees the role that needs to be filled by either him or someone else (preferably someone else). Sometimes I feel like our coaches cannot see that Jrue, EG, Reke, AD, & Asik on the floor at the same time is a cluster. At least we know someone gets that we need 3&D guys. Lets hope the situation resolves itself.

With all that being said, when EG does come back I hope we see either him or Reke coming off the bench.

It's also worth noting that the FO didn't realize they were creating the clusterfrick.

Hopefully when Gordon comes back, Evans will play ball and allow Monty to pair him with Anderson.

It's pretty clear that this is what needs to happen. I think the biggest problem is getting Reke to buy in. He obviously was not happy in that role last year.

Cornerstone returning to practice

Nakia Hogan: I just spoke to Eric Gordon and he plans to return to full-team practices on Sunday. He said he won't need much practice time before playing
