Avegno: For the Pelicans, we also had a similar matrix. What that 3,000 looks like for the Saints is a 4% capacity in the Superdome, and that 4% is where the Pelicans are starting as well. Right now, where we are is at 4%. It's 750 fans for the Pelicans.

I feel bad for the Season Ticket Reps who are gonna get a lot of shite that they don’t deserve. It’s thanks to Mayor countrell and Avegno

I don’t follow them very closely. Are city government officials citing where these numbers come from? Like, why 4% and not 3 or 5 or 13?

These capacity limits could very well be doing good things, but without transparency, I’m sure you’re just inviting skepticism.

Avegno's numbers are based on less than 5% positivity rate and less than 100 positives a day in Orleans Parish.

She sites no science whatsoever to back up these numbers or her shutdowns. None.

When pressed on their reasoning Latoya told Travers Mackel to frick off essentially.

They should come play games in the PMAC.

I have attended many games where this appeared to be the total general attendance.

Typical Latoya. There never is any science or reason behind her decisions. She was elected into a position she was never qualified for and enjoys the power regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

Unlike football games, I can totally see the appeal of watching a nba game with no crowd. Being able to hear everything would be really fascinating, if only for one game or so.

We're sitting here hyper-analyzing the schedule, pointing out tough road trips and easy home stretches...

But what good is a home game in front of Mo Bart and 700 other people?

Seems like 700 people is gonna look super awkward on TV. Might as well just put up the video boards in all the arenas for now and have virtual fans. Was actually pretty fun when I did it for the Memphis bubble game.

As far as on-court advantage during the game? Probably little to none, unless you subscribe to building familiarity being an advantage.

But as far as off-court? Home games are very important. No hotels. No travel. Your own facilities.

This is terrible I get more fans showing up to my DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) competitions and my hot dog eating competitions.

Forgive me, but then why is the preseason game blacked out on NBATV? We can’t attend the game in person

Because that's the deal that FOXSportsNO has. The goal is to make you watch it on your local affiliate that has exclusive rights to broadcast in the local area.
