Zion could've had his foot amputated this season and it still would've been a no-brainer to give him the max this past offseason.
We're a small market franchise, we have to take those gambles because it's the only way we will have any chance of getting all star talent without a trade. Same reason why we have to to re-sign BI.

Things seemed pretty stable in 2018. Traded for Boogie, swept portland... and then boom... AD requests a trade out of nowhere.

Take it for what you will, I have talked to his dad after the games and he says BI really loves it here in New Orleans. Said he was very unhappy in LA but has been genuinely happy here
