Never ever should have traded for him. Klutch says it all.

He lied his arse off on that interview. Saying shite like the trade surprised him. Total lie.

He couldn’t get rehab session? bullshite.

This dude is a bitch

I am kinda thinking the same thing. The totality of it all doesn't pass the smell test.

Yeah either he or Griff lied because Griff said at Murray’s intro presser that Rich Paul told Griff to trade for him.

That is a tough listen.

At least he gives a frick unlike some.

Did he speak more on the training part? Not getting table time and court time. Seems like they don't have enough trainers.

I'm sure he still talks to pop and gets advice.

Has been through both the spurs and hawks organizations.

Sounds like he is almost blaming his attitude/situation with the pels for his Achilles.

Almost like he wasn't in the right headspace and that is why it happened.

So not ‘we’ then…

He didn't mean it like that. He said the organization has the talent. Why would he say "we". You're reaching.

Or maybe he was setting unrealistic expectations on them scheduling. Remember, those guys are working every day with the guys on the court. Murray is spending all his time in the PNW, away from the team. I'm sure that didn't help with table time.

I didn't get that from it, but it's so absurd I wouldn't have acknowledged hints at it.

I understand what Griff was trying to do trading for Murray. Unfortunately, I also understand that all moves we make that don't involve trading Zion are just shuffling deck chairs. That said, this podcast is the final straw. That trade was an abject failure.

Yeah, these were just some pathetic lies. From Shamit's newsletter:

quote:

Dumars and company have a large obstacle to overcome to change the perception of the franchise and repair the relationship with Murray. However, I did ask people around the organization about Murray’s comments regarding on court time, table time and lifts. There is a general sense of confusion from the people I conversed with. Table times and court times are posted in advance, every single day, and Murray was on the schedule every time. It’s unclear what Murray’s specific gripe with the scheduling is, but sources maintain he was not left off the schedule or denied opportunity at any point.
