We still aren’t that far removed from attendance clauses and the constant threat of the team leaving. A focus on winning would be nice but the team being financially secure, even if it’s because of the league, is progress.

I’m not giving them a pass, I would like to see them clean house, but last time a star left the threat of the team not being far behind was real.

Dude, if all people you are going to question anyone about being a fan. You have proven you are anything but a fan. I have been a season ticket holder from the day this team moved from Charlotte. My guess is that you sit in your computer chair whining about everything to get attention.

Loomis is a business man. If this team had Presti as GM, would anyone complain about Loomis holding a title of POBO?

When I dug into it a bit a while back, I think that we are basically safe til at least 2024 when the lease runs out.

So to me I think despite whatever manufactured media drama comes, the team has enough space to clean house, rebuild responsibly, and still have enough space to re-endear the team to the community if they put out a better product.

The league had to buy the team from the broke owner. There wasn't a billionaire who also owns an NFL franchise running the show.

If they ever decided to truly invest in the team and consider more than just the immediate future, I think they can make it work. But the top of the organization, as it is set up, is designed to think of the Pels as an afterthought.

For all the complaints about player effort and coaching decisions and gm moves, that is the single most maddening part of this team for me.

I don't mind that a businessman is the POBO. I have a problem that it is a part time job for him. Same with the VP.

If you take your business extremely seriously, you do not have the top two officers be part-timers. Its just a symbol of how invested they are. Do they care? Sure. But to be the best of 30 or even consistently good, you need a large staff of people on the same page, all in, all the time.

I just can't imagine any other near billion dollar business in the world that has its top two officers as part timers. Could it be worse? Sure. But that is never a good argument.

Since 2014 attendance has been 94% or more (91%so far this season) of the SKC capacity, so this narrative of "fans dont show up" is way overblown
