the eight seed is 26-20...it's a long shot, but why give up on that?

No, they aren't.

Really, if you think about it, if it's all or nothing, I suppose there are four or five teams in the entire league that should be attractive to a certain kind of fan.

If everyone was healthy, I'd agree with you.

Unfortunately, we're not that lucky.

RealGM is a Raptors heavy forum. Tons of fans want them to trade Lowry and even have mentioned Derozan.

But to rush back players from injury?

I was not advocating rushing him back, I'm saying don't hold him out an inordinate amount of time with the subtext being, "hey, we might lose some games" and be in contention for a draft pick. n

What would be accomplished? Most of the guys on our team, only know about losing. Yea Jrue won a playoff series but that had more to do with a Derrick Rose injury. If we hope to build a winning culture, this is how it starts. Bringing consistent effort every night and learning how to finish.

Lot of irrelevant banter in this thread. It's a dislocated finger. Having had a couple myself, I knew he wasn't going to be able to play today. When you pop it back in it is incredibly sore the next day. As in can't put any pressure on it without it hurting alot.

Rushing him back won't worsen the injury. It's just soreness. It is impossible to play effectively through that pain. At least without some sort of drugs.
