Didn't watch any.

Are they all saying it sounds like they're coming back, or all they all saying the league is going to announce it after next weekend?

And since we lost the game threads, Kobe died, Australia caught on fire, COVID took over the world, 30+ million unemployed, and murder hornets made it to the US. It's to time heal earth.

Michael McNamara @michael_stokley 6h

Friday - Sunday: Expect 'insider' reports saying that league discussed many options, nothing set in stone yet, but they are leaning towards more than 16 teams

Monday-Friday: Small details coming out, still no set plan.

Sat - Tuesday: We should get official plan

Could just be logical speculation, but its starting to look like this is exactly right to me.

I never understood why people did (and apparently still do) try to call out Crewz for having no sources. As childish, rude, and obnoxious as he can be, he’s proven multiple times that he has a few real connections. None of these restart predications are that outlandish and I appreciate just having some NBA info, but some people just can’t separate the man from the messages.

Been following him since the pre Bourbon Street Shots days, I cant even remember the name of the old Hornets site. But I've always thought he was the best on the site

That's McNamara's fault too

Correct, there was little doubt he had connections and his posts showed that.

Only caveat that I'm sure everyone would agree with is that he would also take credit very often for predicting things he never did. He would do things like say, "Watch what's gonna happen" with zero context to even the subject of what he was talking about, then 25 days later, something would happen, and Crewz would say, "See, told ya!!!"

But again, that didn't mean he didn't have sources. He did, and he hit on many things that proved he had connections.

But he was insecure and loved that validation so he'd take it a step further very unnecessarily.

I think it’s incredibly obvious that he once had a source inside the Pels organization, but doesn’t any more. But he still has actual friends that work in the league. Any info he gives now, it’s coming from his actual friends.

The silence from the league right now is deafening.

I'm pretty sure they are doing nothing for political purposes and don't want to announce anything until things have died down.

Because he operates like an old carny psychic: most of what you say is sufficiently vague as to cover many things/date ranges. Or, as someone else mentioning, go back and take credit for shite you never actually predicated.

We are already 4-0 against Portland, nothing left to prove against them..

Memphis, Sacto and Pels should play for the 8th seed

lol no if New Orleans is in, Portland is guaranteed in as well since they have a better record.

I'm curious what having a healthy Nurkic will do to the Blazers. Him plus Whiteside could be a problem as we just are not a big team yet.

With only a short period to train and mesh, some of the results may be more of a crap shoot than the typical post season. It will be interesting to see if there are any big upsets.

his metaphor is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

reminded me of playing with fellow teenagers at our parents country club. smiled as they did it.
no shame.

im laughing now. imagining silver at the presser, "Yes, getting Zion into the playoffs was our overriding consideration. Next question".

Whiteside can be such an empty stats guy, it's really alarming to see how much worse Portland is defensively at times with him on the floor because he chases blocks instead of just locking down the paint to penetration. Zion might kill him.

eta - Nurk might make a big difference. He wasn't available for last year's run to the WCF so it's hard to quantify his playoff value. He got killed by AD in 2018 though.
