not sure why we didn't just keep him.

What is the point of having the D-leaguers on our roster?

Remember when everybody last year thought that he would be the answer this season after how well he played?

People should know by know these fringe d league players won’t ever be consistently successful. Very slim chance

He is still a legitimate shooter who can score 10 points in five minutes.

Just find it odd he was the man out.

My guess is they bring him backup under the hardship exception.

Crawford and Ian Clark were our only bright spots off the bench, Crawford shot 5-10 (50% FG) last night. I don't think he was our savior but not sure I understand the logic. Why didn't we waive Darius Miller who can't even score on a player with one shoe on?! (KD proved that last night)

Two way players do not count toward the 15-player roster to begin with. These players can move between the NBA and G-league. So "sending one down" does not change the the available roster spots. Both Cooke and Jones will be reporting to the G-league Monday (I think) but it changes nothing for the roster

Clark/Moore are those back ups. Now the guards can properly shift back to their normal roles and that would mean Crawford would have been back to the end of the bench.

He was the only player on the roster without a fully guaranteed contract. In fact during the summer they gave him $250k up front to move his guarantee date for the full season back to November just to make a move like this at some point during the season.

And he's also the worst defender on the team that is a net negative if he isn't lighting it up. Would they keep Crawford if Asik wasn't on the roster? Probably, but the roster is what it is so Grits is gone.

He seems to have really grown and changed, I hope he catches on with someone else.

Simple Crawford has a non-guaranteed contract. Millers is guaranteed so we cannot waive him

Based on what he has looked like thus far, have to wonder why.

Just like with Asik, other teams were rumored to be chasing after him.

I remember us talking about it during the offseason. We all thought he came in as a non-guaranteed guy. But then it was reported that the Pelicans were really impressed with what they saw gave him a guaranteed contract right off the bat. Plus we heard there were a few other teams that had contacted him

His shot will come eventually. What he has to do is attack off the dribble like we saw last night. It's funny how we all assumed Solomon Hill's 7 ppg would be easy to replace. Miller is averaging 2 ppg
