Pretty sure he injured his thumb last year in December right ? I’m no doctor and idk what was wrong with it but considering he could play through it surely it was only minor surgery with 2-3 months max missed .
He really hasn’t been the same since and has been streaky. You could tell the last few games his shot has been flat and his handle sucks probably due to his thumb , and when you’re low in confidence , fighting through pain just makes your feel for the game even worse.

We lost 10 games in a row anyway , whilst we had a good record he should have had surgery . And then been healthy for this period where we needed him to be better .

We didn’t have the option we needed him to carry us while BI and Zion were both out. He had to gut it out. So did Larry.

We wouldn't have been in the play in if he did.

If he had surgery on the thumb, he would've been out for the season and we'd be giving huge minutes to Naji and Kira.

Trust me, CJ knew what was up. He wasn't feeling like himself for months since the injury, but he knew suiting up and playing through it was best for the team.

CJ is all heart. Zion is all gut.

He probably could have if his teammates weren’t giant gaping pussies.
