I'm CP3's biggest fan, I can't fault you for having thoughts of bringing him home.

And I’m team, you are the position you defend. But I also feel you can make correlations between basketball and football. And we have been a team without a QB for a long long time.

This is silly.

We have three ball handlers. As of now, a post player who needs touches and a non shooter who might be our best decision maker in the starting 5

I mean, everyone knows what a punk arse bitch Paul was, but now he’s washed so it would be a terrible trade all around.

And we didn’t make the playoffs when more than half the teams in the league make it.

That wasn’t because of the style of basketball, that was availability. Also, Chris Paul played 59 games and missed the most important games of the season. You want another guy like that?

And CJ was a shell of himself and set for off-season surgery

What I really want is to keep Trey and Herb long term.

…….and to play devils advocate cause I’m bored.

Chris is too old now.

I want the guy who can play more games.

moreover, I avoided being nasty about it early season but in my privacy i knew he was a bad bet to finish the finals.

the op is suggesting trading a nice person who played hurt for a Dickwad known for punching balls who is injured when it counts the most.
as many playoffs as cp3 gets to a whole lot end without him.
yes when healthy cp3 is hof .

what a bad idea

What if I asked, do you want:

2023- CJ and Herb
2024- Cj
2025- Cj

Or

2023- CP3 and Herb
2024- Herb
2025- Herb
2026 etc- Herb

Aka, making this trade lets you keep Herb long term. I could probably replace Herb’s name with Murphy, but I’m taking baby steps with this discussion.

Easily

We’d win every single facet of that trade by a mile

And this is assuming I get to keep my lottery pick this year, correct?

If that’s the case, I’m drafting Jalen-Hood Schifino and requiring that he doesn’t leave Cp3’s side for an entire year.

PG: Schif 6’6” (go watch his film before u knock him-I’ll be massively surprised if he’s still there at 14 once workouts start)
SG: Trey 6’10”
SF: BI 6’10”
PF: Z 6’8”
C: Val 7’

Sub Herb in for Val - play a spread 5 and our score whoever - play like you’re GS ala 2021-2022.

I want a solid, uptempo PG so frickin bad man. Gimme Schifino.

CJ actually plays. CP3 would be good company in street clothes next to Zion on the bench for half the season
