If we take Mcelmore, I think it shows that the FO will 100% move EG

I think they could co-exists frankly. McLemore could take 2 years to really develop anyways.

i think it says more about Rivers if they take him

The good thing would about this scenario is it would allow us to take our time with trading Gordon too. Bring McLemore along slowly until he's ready to take over, and it allows your time to find a decent trade.
I just wish Granger was healthy. A EG/Granger swap would just make too much sense. Both teams desperately need that position/type of player, and you can send both guys to their hometown.

Not if they are moving Rivers to a ball handling role like sources keep indicating. We got ball handling guard, slashing guard, and shooting guard.

Agreed. Which is why I don't think we take a PG

I hate agreeing with you, Chad. It's a lot more fun to argue.

what's your favorite color?

I think you could also see all 3 on the court when they decide to go small and run. But yeah, Gordon would eventually be gone.

Definitely. IIRC, last year we had a small ball lineup that consisted of GV, Rivers, and Mason. GV, Gordon, McLemore would be a huge upgrade.

Chad Ford ?@chadfordinsider 3h Like I said, there's zero consensus in draft after 1st 6 guys - Noel, Oladipo, Porter, McLemore, Len & Bennett. Wide-open after that ...
So which of these guys are still available at 6? And are we likely to take one of them. I think its either Oladipo or Bennett that's available when we pick so I wouldn't be surprised if Burke is still the pick
Posted on 6/19/13 at 1:58 pm to Cap Crunch
Bennett will still be there, IMO.
Posted on 6/19/13 at 2:04 pm to Fun Bunch
Don't get my hopes up for McLemore.

Posted on 6/19/13 at 2:05 pm to Fun Bunch
Really hoping Washington takes him, but I just can't see them passing on Porter.

Are you saying that it will be Burke, and Oladipo or Bennett?
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised that any of those guys falls to us. It really is what GM likes what player.

I think it will go down like this...
Cleveland Cavaliers-Alex Len-C-Maryland
Orlando Magic-Trey Burke-PG-Michigan
Washington Wizards-Nerlens Noel-C-Kentucky
Charlotte Bobcats-Victor Oladipo-SG-Indiana
Phoenix Suns-Ben Mclemore-SG-Kansas
New Orleans Pelicans-Otto Porter-SF-Georgetown.

I'm saying I think we take Burke ahead of Oladipo and Bennett
