I took this from another board since I'm not an insider but he has us taking T-Rob with the #3 pick and Tyler Zeller with the #10 pick.
LINK

1. Anthony Davis - Charlotte
2. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - Washington
3. Thomas Robinson - New Orleans
4. Andre Drummond - Sacramento
5. Bradley Beal - Toronto
6. Harrison Barnes - Cleveland
7. Damian Lillard - Portland
8. Jared Sullinger - Detroit
9. Kendall Marshall - Utah
10. Tyler Zeller - New Orleans
11. Perry Jones III - Portland
12. Terrence Jones - Milwaukee
13. Jeremy Lamb - Utah
14. Austin Rivers - Phoenix

I think I would take Perry Jones over Zeller if it comes to that. Yeah, we already would get a 4 with Robinson but I think by the time our second pick comes around, you have to take the BPA and IMO, Jones has more upside than Zeller.

Agree with that. I've read a couple of articles that said Perry can be a 3 in the league. Oh and welcome back.

I could see that.

Robinson at the 3rd pick is an easy call.

Zeller is a good, solid pick since we need depth at the 5.

It really comes down to what we see in Jones III vs. either a solid 5 in Zeller or a backup 2 behind Eric Gordon in Lamb or Rivers.

I would be pissed if Marshall went one pick before us and we already had T-Rob. I'd love the Robinson pick, but kind of hope we get a G/ForC combo. I didn't watch much of Jones III this year so if he could play the 3 than awesome. Either way, big man depth wouldn't be bad, as long as Gordon is here long term.

I dont see the wizards passing on t-rob tho.....if they dont pass on him, i'd either go beal or, dare i say, drummond.

I'm with you teke....I'm starting to warm up to the idea of rivers, just have the sneaking suspicion he turns out great. But if we get beal, you go with jones III or my favorite player in this area, terrence jones.

They just drafted Jan Vesely who plays the 4.

I keep hoping that some Euros make a push for the top 15 to push some of the these other players down. Doesn't appear to be happening though.

Lillard keeps rising. I really would have been intrigued with him in the 2nd pick if we went PF/C with the first pick.

I don't want Zeller. I would rather take a chance on someone like Perry Jones or even Lamb.

They already have Nene, an untradeable Andre Blatche, and Trevor Booker and Kevin Seraphin both have 15.5ish PER's in their 2nd seasons. That's a lot of money and a lot of talent already on Bigs. TRob could become a Quasi AllStar, but I think good starter is more likely. They lost Nick Young so going after Beal makes sense, and it's not like Beal is a reach at 2, people compare him to Gordon.

Blatche could get amnesty, as he's got the biggest contract that the Wizards can't buy their way out of.

Rashard Lewis' contract has a buyout of a few million that lets them off the hook for the remainder of his $24m next season.

I forgot about Vesley too. That still leaves you with a big rotation of Nene/Vesley/Booker/Seraphin I'm not saying that's the best front line in the NBA, but they probably get a better upgrade:need ratio out of drafting another position.

Please not Zeller for the love of all that is holy

Anybody over him

PJ3 or TJones would give us some athleticism and size.

He's not better than Okafor or Kaman and we already have 2 cheap backup bigs in Smith and Ayon. I would hope we gamble on a guy with upside or trade the pick.

Why all the hate on Zeller? He averaging 16ppg 10rpg on a team that has 6 first rounders(2012&2013). The offense ran through him most of the time. I like the mock draft because it beefs up our weak front court and most importantly adds much needed scoring down low.

If we take Austin Rivers I will never go to another Hornets game again.

Absolutely disagree. We are not in the position to be turning down relatively cheap lottery talent. Unless it's in a deal for a big piece you keep the pick, we've got plenty of spots that can be upgraded.
