Absolutely disagree. We are not in the position to be turning down relatively cheap lottery talent. Unless it's in a deal for a big piece you keep the pick, we've got plenty of spots that can be upgraded.

last year, for example, guys like George Hill and Stephen Jackson were traded for picks around the spot the Minnesota pick will be. I think if you are able to get a player of that caliber then you have to make the trade, in my opinion.

Will Kaman be back though?

Since everyone agrees that Davis is "the pick" this year, what is everyone's thoughts on trading the two picks (let's say 3 & 10) for Davis? Is your opinion different if the picks are the 4/5th (no TRob) and 10/11th?

I don't think another team would accept it. I know I wouldn't.

We definitely shouldn't be trading for an older mid-level player like Jackson. Hill has been decent but if we traded the 9th - 10th pick for a backup guard then the Chris Paul trade is a colossal failure.

Hill was traded for the 15th pick overall. I think we can trade for a better player then that for the 10th pick. Hill and Jackson were just examples of quality players who can come in and contribute immediately to hopefully a playoff contending team. Rather than waiting on Perry Jones to develop as a pro, for example as well.

A veteran or young guy slightly better than Hill/Jackson's level is not worth it IMO.
