What if we send AD to the bulls for markanen plus picks. This obviously wouldn’t be the whole trade but point is we better control this situation and sending him to a crappy team but for a legit young player plus picks wouldn’t make me feel sorry for him. Ha

Meh. I’d rather build a team of legit guards than another talented big. Hard pass.

AD doesn’t want to go to the Bulls they suck. I know he doesn’t control that but all he has to do is tell the Bulls he’s not resigning with them

LA or Boston is the obvious...with the obvious with LA. Him buying a home there. Him signing with LeBron's agent... etc.
The outside is the Bulls...I haven't seen what picks they have, but my guess is they have some lotto ones especially If they haven't moved them.
AD is from Chicago. It's the East....so he could possibly attract another big star to play with him next season in Chi-town. It's just is the "haul" going to be worth it for the Pels to go to a deal with Chi.
Other outsiders are NY and Brooklyn...both have a ton of money open and could dump easy. Big markets as well. Rumor is the unicorn could be up for grabs in trades...
Will be interesting no doubt..

Name one player you would want from the lakers? Can’t do it. They got no one. If we send him there I will not be a Pels fan again

The only way would be for Kuzma, Ingram, Rondo, KCP and their 1st rounders until 2045

if they win the lottery, maybe

I like this as an option b/c LM is pretty good player, and if you can get their first out of it, increases odds for the first or second pick. Then you have zion or Barrett at SF.
I would want much more than just LM, 2 picks.

Chicago does have some nice assets to get back, but if they do that, then they will suck, unless they think they can attract some FA's this offseason.
If AD wants to win, teams like Portland, Indy and Denver have some assets they can give up while still being really good.

AD won’t be traded until this summer, but he is boys with Lavine and if they get #1, then he can convince himself that him, Markanen, Lavine, and a max slot (Kyrie) is a contending team in the East. At least more so long term than LA with a 36 year old Lebron.

Half of my point though is that I don’t care what AD wants. His situation is different from almost anyone. Every team will take him and probably even risk a year rental withbhopes they can convince him to stay. Everyone wants to go somewhere they can win. But as a Pels fan I want the best return and if I can send AD to an even worse situation at the same time I’d do it. Ha. But the return is the most important part. It screwing over AD at the same time

Its a fine line on what you do here, do you get as much assets and send him a winning team to get over the hump, or say Frick it, if we get a decent return, send him to a Chicago or Cleveland or some other team east.
