I mean he has to say this. Why give up all your leverage by saying “He isn’t part of our plan moving forward. We want to trade him!” Also, why extend Trey right now and give up your leverage too. Just be patient and let it play out.

He certainly could have been putting on a show for his fellow GMs, but I thought he was giving a fairly candid performance of a guy that in the last month has lost half his brain trust and is finding the trade market incompatible with his goals and objectives.
