Yes? Averaging 3 a game and then shooting 6 every game after you say you will is pretty fricking cut and dry.

Idk what you want me to say? Do you want me to purposely act retarded to make yourself feel better?
Its a lose lose. We bitched the dude shot 3 and wanted 6 and now that we have proof and evidence he shot 6 you are literally saying "hmm did he tho, did he really?"
I got alot of shite for arguing that he will do it and now that he has y'all want to argue you with me that he somehow didn't or wasn't? I mean what the frick?

I get your side of this argument, but people just aren't going to take much stock in an 18 game sample of taking 6 3's per game after watching him the 3 seasons before that taking 3-4. Add to that is the fact that in those 18 games, he averaged 1 extra made 3 per game than in the 3 seasons before. Nothing earth shattering.

He averaged 3.8 the last 3 seasons and averaged 6.4 last year... That's 2.6 and not 1. Its actually 150% more than what you are saying.
He wasn't taking "1 extra 3" he was taking "1 extra 3 away from DOUBLING his 3pt average".

And we doubled down on the above with an eating disorder instead...
I don’t think we doubled down. Griff sold BI for nickels on the dollar compared to what he could have got before.
Doubtful the new management wanted to do the very same thing a few months later with Zion.
At least there’s some hope he stays healthy and we can get a much better haul back or actually win.

Ingram is what he is. He’s a midrange shooter who will occasionally make a 3pt but after a few misses he gets scared and reverts back to the midrange jumper. He just always came off as a lack of motivation go through the motion type of guy. Wish him well in Toronto but his time was up for us

quote:So then we can't make the argument that he shot more 3s either then, based on on your logic.
That he only played 18 games. Your explanation is based on an 18 game season, we do not know if he would have ended up less efficient through the whole season.

The only thing I know for a fact is that he doubled his 3's taken and anyone who says otherwise is full of shite.

Well, now we're stuck with an oft injured, non winning empty stats player with an eating disorder. At least the rest of the team respects Ingram. Same isn't true for Lazy Fat.

And sell him for pennies on the dollar? So our two best talents get sold off for nothing, and we have next to nothing to show for it. That’s how shite franchises remain shite franchises.
Griff got pretty good value for AD. But just made stupid moves that amounted to nothing. If we just drafts Garland and trades Bsll for Lauri M at the deadline that year, we probably sitting pretty right now and he still has a job.

Hey bud, read what I wrote again. He averaged 1 extra MADE 3 per game than the 3 seasons before. In your 18 game sample season, he made 2.4 3s per game. In the 3 seasons before that, he averaged 1.3 MADE 3s per game.
Again, nothing earth shattering.

Bitching about BI's 3s while ignoring that Lazion has taken less than 100 in 6 years and has only gotten worse at making them.

Why would Zion need to shoot 3s when he is ranked 12 in scoring efficiency. That is being first in double teams too. Stop hating on Zion. Dude is a superstar when he plays.

Because he gets doubled by the defense packing the paint, which makes it harder for everyone else to drive and kick. When Zion gets doubled it only creates spacing for shooters, but we don't have shooters outside of Murphy.
I don't give one flying frick about his personal efficiency. Does he make the team better? The data says no. He does not substantially impact w/l percentage. Empty stats.

StatMuse says we have a .509 winning percentage WITH Zion versus a .388 winning percentage WITHOUT him.

We have shooters with Poole who shot 37% on 9 attempts. Herb had a down year but he still a career 37% shooter. Only non shooter really in the starting lineup is Missi.
Here are the statistics that prove you wrong

Possibly 2 of them now. Joe likes them. Mortgaged the future for this guy that is now out 12 weeks.
