One game but he looked pretty decent. Way better than some of the other guys we've trotted out at the end of the bench in recent years.

People criticize Griff and the FO, but they have a knack of finding these young wings that play hard and contribute early. We don’t have a talent problem as much as Griff haters hate to admit it.

In contrast, the 9 minutes we got of Jamal Cain last night were pretty bad.

I was impressed with his ball handling as much as anything. He was able to handle the ball without turning it over against McConnell harassing him the whole court

He was a top 5 recruit coming out of HS, so there is pedigree there. Many were excited when we originally drafted him

51. Grizzlies draft BJ Boston (officially traded to Clippers via Pelicans)
He was actually drafted by the Grizzlies who traded his rights to the Pelicans who traded his rights to the Clippers.

Boston Jr. popped in the Warriors game. Another long wing but with an offensive bent, he can improve his stock if he can continue to be a disrupter on defense and develop his handle a bit more to get minutes at the 1 or 2 positions.

And the pick was traded to the Clippers for cash on the same night, so he was drafted by the Grizzlies, for the Pelicans, for the Clippers…

The issue is people saying he was drafted by the Pelicans when he wasn’t…

He was drafted by the Clippers, just the dumbass way the NBA calls out their draft picks is what makes it look different.

I’m talking about the board reaction leading up to and when the pick was announced. Boston was a popular name on pels talk. There isn’t a semantics argument to be had here, you can relax

Cain did not even look like a G League player. I would release him and look for another 2-way. He and JRE were an absolute disaster last night.
