Been using the Ballys app on my RokuTV since it came out 2 or 3 years ago.
Have never had an issue.
Maybe some of you have shitty internet, or maybe it doesn’t work well on some devices. The few times I’ve used my firetv it’s given me no problems as well.

The app is really bad on my Fire TV. Was getting an “unauthorized” error last night for the first half. Once I finally got in in the second half the picture lagged way too much.

I stream everything and the only thing that gives me trouble is Bally’s. I haven’t watched a game on my FireTV yet this year because the app doesn’t work. I have to cast to my tv from my iPad, even though that typically takes a while to get going as well. Thankfully last night it worked fine though, aside from a few buffers, but I’ll take it.

The main issue I have is when it comes back from commercial, it’s like the feed speeds up some and AD and Joel’s voices go up for 10 seconds like they just sucked in helium The feed itself hasn’t been an issue for me. 500 mbps here.

I used to have the same issue with lsu baseball games on espn+. Was always messing up on the RokuTV, but worked just fine on my AndroidTV. Was the only thing I streamed that wouldn’t work well.
As I said. Either shitty internet, or change your streaming device. Quit using the same device that obviously doesn’t work. Try something else.

I’m in the trial period fortunately but it wouldn’t work on a FireTV or Roku last night. I was able to get the game on my iPhone. I just tried to watch the replay this morning and couldn’t on FireTV. That’s just ridiculous.
I guess the Bally’s trial is getting canceled and I’ll give League Pass with VPN a shot.

I’ve found that it works better for me just to AirPlay it from my phone to the tv than it does to use the app on the tv

Even if the devices are the problem, which they shouldn’t be, they should give you an error message telling you that’s the problem. Actually what they should do is detect the issue and reduce the stream quality to compensate.
I will admit that my Roku is old and under powered, but my FireTV is a full FireTV, not a stick, and plays every other streaming service just fine. So it being the problem is not a good excuse if all the other services work well on it. The same could be said of the Roku.
