Kessler/Collins is another option.
If possible, this is the one.

Zach Lowe talked about this on a pod recently, IIRC

He 100% said the Jazz are buyers not sellers. I think he said Ainge used the word "big game hunting" in exit interviews.
The working theory is that Ainge hasn't been able to sell the owner on a tank, and the owner wants to win games.

If true, that would explain Utah potentially being interested in BI.

Let's hope it's true.

I'd like one person to show me any type of stat that backs up this assanine comment everyone likes to say.
Without a stat that you know does not exist...seems a bit self fulfilling.

That being said, videos with BI doing this over and over and over were posted many times during the season. You post here a lot, hard to believe you never once saw any of those videos?

You mean the same analysts/non biased media folks who feel BI should be traded and our center situation is an utter mess. I find it interesting when we pick and choose to listen to these non biased media folks.

One of those has tangible evidence, the reputation part of my statement you didnt address, and the other is opinion and speculation based on roster/unproven players.

So entering year what - 6 - of the rebuild we have a team without a single nba caliber center or low post player on the roster.

Griffin continues to push all the buttons and we should all be thankful for his service.

Do you think there's any chance ingram changes his play and takes more 3s? I really only think it's possible because we have a truly legit pg on the team for the first time in a looooong time.

That's false. Starting quality? No, but we have two players that have played serious nba minutes.

By tangible evidence you’re only talking about the trades Ainge has made? How is their tangible evidence on Ainge’s reputation. Tangible evidence is defined by physical evidence or documentation. Is there physical evidence or documentation of Ainge’s reputation???

They’re both opinion and speculation.

You only have to look as far back as to what Ainge wants for Kessler.

If you want to rule out a trade with the Jazz based on the Gobert trade and how he’s perceived amongst NBA analysts- I guess thats your take.

I would say not all situations are alike and it makes a lot of sense for both gms to work out a trade. And I wouldn’t just rule it out.

I didn't rule it out, I just said i highly doubt it. You know how stubborn David Griffin is.

I bet ainge is asking for ingram and a 1st for ANYTHING we would want from them. Kessler/Collins/etc.

I think Ainge would do Ingram for Collins straight up, which is not good value for BI, but it's better than letting him walk for free.

We would be a worse team for that trade

Yeah, Kessler and Collins or Collins and 2 1st would be the only trades I would do.

If neither of those are available go into the season as is with no extension, someone will overachieve and throw assets at us for BI

BI was a #2 on a really good team last year. When Zion was fit and healthy, we were a top 6 team in the league. Facts.

We keep saying this but I’m not really sure. BI has really good skills but they’re also redundant skills on this team with Murray now in the fold. Meanwhile you’re replacing that with bigs you desperately need.

Plus say you’re right and we keep BI- then he walks for nothing; now we have nothing to show for BI. You can’t just bet on everything for next season.

You think someone will throw us assets for 3 months of BI??
