Its just not an NBA city, especially when the Saints are relevant. People are planning their time around Sundays and the Hornets just have to take a back seat to that.
Trust me though, winning solves everything and I doubt one would have to wait until Jan-Feb this season before people start getting excited about the Hornets.

Does anyone get told that their avatar produces some type of subconscious image of the person in other's minds. because for some reason i get mildly intimidated when i come across your posts, but then that is immediately overcome because my next association goes to every interview i've heard w/ RJ as well as his mindblowing HOF speech. Thats not fair to you bro

I'm assuming you're being sarcastic.
One would have to really be trying to show everyone he roots for the Saints if he gets upset about someone referencing the situation

I live in Baton Rouge and this is my first year to purchase more than single game tickets here and there. I bought a 12 game mini package this year with two seats per game in the lower bowl.
I think that attendance will gradually improve as it always does. Usually, regardless of how successful the team is, the attendance begins to really pick up once the Saints finish.
Obviously, a continued great season would only increase those numbers. Come Jan/Feb, if the team is still legit, people will come....just like 2007 when the Hornets ended the Season with 14 straight sell outs.

Yeah the season always starts out slowly, but it always picks up... That and coupled up with more promotions tossed out there we should be fine with attendance

Attendance last night at:
Nuggets-Pacers in Indianapolis- 11,122
Cavs-Nets in Newark- 10,188
Knicks-Bucks in Milwaukee- 13,286
Blazers, Lakers, and Heat had sellouts or close to it.
Hornets don't have problems that 80% of the other NBA teams don't have, getting fans to show up on a Tuesday night against the clippers

Lesters RJ avatar is about 1,000,000,000,000 times better/cooler/more relevant that that dumbass Andre Dawson he had for 2 years.

I am not going to lie....I thought the attendance last night wasnt bad, especially in the upper level. I have been to many games, some being big ones, where there would be multiple empty sections. It was a late arriving crowd but that always happens. there are plenty empty seats, but it was better than it could have been.

man I need to make a trip up to NY and go to some Nets games. They're pretty much giving away tickets on stubhub.

Ya'll do know that a LOT of the lower bowl tickets are sold, right ? People just don't go to all the games during the week.

the ones that dont sell by gametime, they should be put for sale for upper's to upgrade to for a discounted price.
it would look better on TV, and would give people the opportunity to sit in those seats instead of them going to waste.
like set up a booth in the arena, half off to upgrade or something of that nature.
Been saying this should be done for ages.
