Turn out the lights, the party's over. If this team can't have a winning season and make the playoffs by beating teams like Detroit, this team is gone
Eyeran: you're hilarious! And over 9,000 posts too. -which means that you probably don't have a real job, watch a lot of Star Wars, still live at home, and like Anderson Cooper; still haven't found that special lady yet. GET A LIFE DUDE.

Just Reported, Filo not buying the Hornets after all

I give up, screw it...
I've been doing more of this than I actually have been working.
I can't find it, if everyone wants me to remove the Original Thread, I will.

I apologize to everyone as well.

I feel bad enough for posting this without evidence. Get off my arse
I'm not trying to. Wish that I would have never posted this after I couldn't find the interview
I listen to tons of sports stations on Sirius/XM. Don't really pay attention to much of those shows or station. I listen to 690 and 104.5 during the day obviously not on Sirius.
It's become personal haha. I'm going to find out this station and find this damn interview.
Okay, now I actually feel bad, because, I really did hear this interview and I just talked to a buddy of mine in Texas who heard the interview too and no one can seem to find it online. And, I'm not the type of person who writes things on this website the are not true. So, I don't know why I can't find this GD interview!
FUN BUNCH

I hear you, I've been looking for it all day. If he's serious about this, I'm sure the Picayune is working feverishly to get something from him.
Great! Maybe he can bring in Dr. Plantz as a potential sponsor.

I was in-jid on Flawda Blvd, whar I in-jid my back and neck. I called Docta Plantz, I am so glad that I did.

Yes, I hear everyone about his type of business. However, a billionaire is a billionaire. And, I don't think he would say that he was that interested in the idea if he didn't have the serious financial where-with-all to actually afford the team. This is great, because, Filo can actually afford the team on his own without a team of investors. Not saying that he won't bring others in, but from the way he sounded in the interview, he sounds like he want's to do this personally.
The interview was on Sirius Satellite Radio on the Westwood One(Sporting News Channel). I don't want to let anyone down that wants Yahoo! affiliated with the team, but I do remember him saying that if he did buy the team, he would not involve Yahoo! do to legal purposes. He said, "this would be a completely seperate venture that would not involve any affiliation or financial support from Yahoo!". -David Filo

I say, who cares as long as he buy's the team. Besides, if he's smart enough to co-found a top fortune 500 company, he can successfully run an NBA franchise.
No BS....He was interviewed on the radio last night. There is no link or audio available(already checked).

David Filo is the Co-Founder of Yahoo! and is from the Lake Charles area. He graduated from Tulane and keeps a home in New Orleans.

His net worth is over a billion dollars.

Wish tha I had more info...

Yea, def agree with original poster.

Defense looks tired and DB's/Safety's look nonexistent.

DB's giving WAYYYY TOOO much cushion on TO & Ochocinco....

Letting a poor team with position weapons like this hang around could really come back to bite us.

You seriously need to calm down dude. The losing streak isn't that bad.
I said, "who cares right now"? Because, as always, the attendance significantly improves post Saints as the season matures...
We need some new corporate sponsors for God's sake!!!
