He looked exactly the same body-wise as last year
GOP still trying to argue this instead of saying how absurdly wrong he was is hilarious.

Wow. Rookie Zion really does look like a different human
Go watch his rookie preseason highlights.

It's crazy how in shape he was. We've never seen Zion probably 25lbs near what he was rookie preseason.

What do you think is more likely?

He is lazy and doesn't try to get his weight back down to that. Doesn't work towards it at all.

He does try but he struggles to shed the weight.

Or he doesn't want to lose it in order to provoke the team to move him.

Zion has 9 figures worth of resources to achieve the ideal nba fitness level and body composition. I can absolutely tell you with 100% confidence it’s not this for a guy in his mid 20s who has shown he can be in very good shape a few years ago.

He IS lazy, we know that.

There's plenty enough credible folks who tell us he doesn't take rehab seriously and routinely skips and no shows for rehab appointments.

Still remember when he went on air on Arenas show and said he was going to follow LeBron's training blueprint.

Dude says so much out-of-pocket shite and we still had posters eating it up as recently as a month ago.

You have to understand him maturing and changing was the key to this franchise reaching its ultimate potential of being a top contender. So as fans we WANT to believe all the shite he said because no one wants to believe the reality we’re in now. Its way too depressing.

I'm saying doe. With him having unlimited options to get back down to 285 (he's obviously been over 300 since he returned from the meniscus tear) why can't this dude just drop the weight 1 time and see how his body responds?

It's like, I see absolutely no other reason than using it as a reason to turn the franchise off. shite, Ozempic is on the market now and that shite works quick. Why not just use that? Is the nga addicted to the taste of the food lol? (Ozempic kills the desire to eat right?)

I just don't get it. Unless his trainers are telling him to keep the weight on (Zion mentioned multiple times in different ways that he preferred keeping the weight, never said it directly though) and that would be frickin stupid.

It's so damn confusing and frustrating. It's obvious at this point that the weight is hurting his health. It doesn't affect his game enough to give him a reason to lose the weight, he's still a dominant force.

But God dammit you keep getting hurt. WHY THE frick NOT JUST DROP THE WEIGHT ONE DAMN TIME AND SEE?

It lacks reason and it is some of the dumbest shite I've ever seen an athlete go thru. It makes no frickin sense smh.
