On the roster does not = center piece.

Atleast be honest and just say that your opinion is only based on Zions existence and you hate Zion so much that its impossible to have an honest opinion about anyone else on the roster.

I won't have a good feeling until the Pels get a legitimate superstar that can take over games.

He makes 42 million a year dipshit. And will probably lead the team in FGA. That's a centerpiece whether you want to play mental gymnastics about it or not. Having Fears as a main piece going forward does not mean that Zion isn't a centerpiece right now.

Do you ever not bitch? You vagina gets hurt every time someone says something you disagree with you, my god i feel sorry for your husband. Just do me a favor and not respond to any of my posts because I don't really care about your mental gymnastics and white knighting.

Absolutely not.

We have multiple guys who are proven scorers in the NBA. Zion, Trey, Dejounte, Bey, Poole can all go for 25 on any given night.

We had (literally) the same thing last year.

I am expecting big leaps from Yves and Fears.

This is the only chance. Yves maybe more important than fears in terms of this season success. We've gotta be stronger at the rim.

quote:

The strength of this team is athletic, defensive-minded wing players.

We only have two of these right? Herb and Murray?

I'm riding with them regardless and am very much looking forward to tonights game and the season ahead. I just don't have high expectations until they prove it.

You bitch, I reply, you freak out and act like my comment hurts YOUR feelings, then comment about my feelings getting hurt?

My mental gymnastics?

I feel better about it than Vegas.

I think they are a 35 win or so team, with upside to get to 40 if everything goes right

Just mediocre enough for everyone to keep their jobs, which is the goal

To me it all comes down to health. If we can get 65+ from Zion, Trey, Dejounte, Herb and Fears, 47 wins is definitely doable

I only care about development and the quality of overall play. I am not going into the season worrying about wins. This is about establishing the identity of the team for the next 3-5 years. Still believe Fears is the ticket and they need to get it right.

Chad accusing someone else of “agenda pushing”. Pure comedy.

Defense will be better, but predicting this team to stay healthy is the boldest take here. If Zion plays 65 games, a 6th seed is realistic. If not, it won't matter.

This is pretty much where I am. I’ll be locked in tonight and will make my usual 6-8 home games. Just wish I legitimately felt like a 6 seed was a possibility.

I don’t have high expectations so I’ll just be happy to see the team improve.

35-40 ceiling. 25-30 floor.

Biggest problem is no superstar. Fears could turn into it.

They need to fix the timeline and move Murray, Herb and Zion during the season. And Poole.

I will be happy if:

The team is at least fun to watch

Fears emerges as a legit star

AND:

The team acts accordingly by starting to move and shape the roster around Fears

Yeah, no

This is the bare minimum of interest and being happy

Just hoping that the team will be fun, has a good player, and then will actually surround that player correctly seems extremely baseline

And yet with this trash franchise it seems like a monumental hope
