The trade rumors are never going to end now

The Pelicans could literally win a championship and tere'd be a contingent saying that now that AD has his ring, he should cash in playing for a bigger market.

Y'all do realize Westbrook and Davis had the same agent, right?

Maybe Davis wants a bigger market, or maybe he just didn't have a great relationship with Foucher any more. This could mean nothing at all or everything w/r/t his next contract.

Doesn't change what the Pels have to do- continue to sell Davis on their franchise and build a team that can play well into the spring for years

AD should be making 20 million in endorsements and Nike should be at least half of that.

Why AD isn’t on the 2k cover is beyond me.

Why AD doesn’t have a razor company endorsement is beyond me too.

not saying that he will leave (at least as a FA)

but at the earliest he can leave in 2020, not in 2021. he can decline his PO

here's the reality of AD in new orleans...by any measure he's a top 5 player in the league. harden/curry/durant/lebron/davis in whatever order you want

harden has been to a finals and a couple conf finals, and his team is knocking on the door.

curry, rings and counting
durant, rings and counting
lebron, rings and counting

AD is the youngest out that group, but its time (his time) and he knows it

Ultimately, the decision will be AD's, with the responsibility falling on the team to give him a reason to stay.
