8th pick that would best improve our roster

Basically I see the Pels being able to improve at starting SG, backup SF, backup C. Feel good about the starting and depth at PG and PF as long as Zion is healthy.

Griffin would be my top choice at 8.
2 good SG options should be available in Agbaji and Mathurin.

don’t think a center will be available at 8 that has that kind of value, but I’d love to see us package our 2nds together and grab Kessler in late 1st or early 2nd

Draft BPA, not best fit.

This player may not get many minutes or be a net positive player until year 3, which is ok but at that point our roster and needs can be completely different.

It’s not that nice… I find it tasteless and bland… I imagine you guys, with your cuisine, would find it horrid!

Not really, if you think back to players drafted in that range, it happens quite often

I get it if we were 2-3 years out. But if you can find a solid fit for need, and really put yourself in contention, you gotta do it. We’re past the “let’s just wait on players to develop” stage. If you can upgrade somewhere in your top 8 players, do it. You have the next couple of years to grab a few players and hope for later development.

BPA. But luckily I think that'll end up being a SG the way this draft is shaping up anyway.

I like Sharp, Bennedict, and Griffin in that order, i think either one of these guys would be excellent on this team.

The ideal scenario is to get a SG/SF with the lotto pick and draft BPA C in the 2nd rd.

PG: CJ/BI/Zion, Jose, Kira.

PF: Zion, Nance, Hayes, Herb, Trey.

We have flexibility at those positions. We need another shooter at SG/SF and our current roster can fill the rest.
