Waiting for the latest Woj Tweet to drop in here.

He’s going to the bench so there’s that lol

I could see the lakers doing a 3 team trade with Charlotte and SA to move Westbrook.
Lakers get Heyward and Josh Richardson
Charlotte gets Westbrook and a 1st round pick
SA gets Kelly Oubre and a pick

Think everyone wins in that situation

Lakers’ Dennis Schroder has suffered a finger injury and his status is up in the air ahead of regular season next week, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Schroder will not play in tonight’s game vs. Kings and is undergoing testing on severity and return timetable.

That's not super great for them.
Westbrook coming off the bench is a very good decision for them. I don't like seeing good decisions coming from LA.

There's also solid odds Russ will piss and moan about it and it'll be a shite show.

until I see otherwise I assume Russ is only present to collect his 47MM and he gives zero shits about anything else, much less delicate team chemistry

But it was inevitable. There's no way they could start him -- he produces negative play these days.

His continual love for the bank shot from 20 feet out blows my mind because it seems like he never makes it but he keeps shooting it

I would wager $100 Westbrook pouts coming off the bench.

Didn't he come off the bench for HOU?

Westbrook career stats
Nope. He has not come off the bench once since his rookie season.
Posted on 10/14/22 at 2:17 pm to Mulkey Man
sheesh 27 PPG that year in HOU, maybe I may be mistaking it with his poor shooting he had during the playoffs that year where teams would not go guard him.

Bold prediction: Westbrook has played his last game as a Laker.

Do the lakers even win 30 games this year? They look bad….
