HUGE win for the pick. I just wish the Mavs could've beaten the Hornets. We really need a few Hornets and Hawks losses for the Knicks and Wiz to keep believing that they have a chance at the play-in.

[edit] I forgot that we can give the Hawks a loss tomorrow.

The Lakers now have the 10th worst record in the NBA.

It's just hard to win when your superstar Wenyen Gabriel doesn't give you his usual 20 and 10 night on 80% shooting

And the toughest remaining schedule by a good bit.

Last 11 games, 7 are on the road. They have the 5th worst road record this year. Only won 10.

Life is good

My first spin on Tankathon the Pels pick landed at 3, the Lakers stayed at 10, and we ended up with Paolo and TyTy Washington.

Yeah that’ll work.

This is amazing. This was the only game I had them winning left on their schedule. They sure made up for the win against the raptors yesterday!

OKC is currently 2-1 against L.A. I feel good about that matchup as long as Giddey and SGA plays.

You had the Lakers winning on the 2nd night of a road back-to-back?

I’m sure they'll pull out an unexpected win in one or two of those games. But still looking good.

As long as the Knicks and Wiz don't pack it in for the year, I think we are solid. Maybe even hope the Spurs can pull off a little hot streak

If we had BI, the Clips could be within reach as well. They have been on a slump and their schedule is just as tough down the stretch

At least with the Knicks they have Thibs as their coach so there’s a greater chance they don’t mail it. He’s normally anti tank

No. I pegged them to lose to Toronto and win against the Wizards. The opposite happened which works out fine.

It's actually the second best result as Wiz got a win too

Best result - Lakers lose both
Second best - Lakers win Raptors, lose v Wiz
Third best (by far) - Lakers lose Raptors, win v Wiz

Remind me - if the Lakers don’t give us their top 10 pick this draft, what do we get instead?

Yeah I believe it converts to two seconds. So if we end up with the Lakers pick and ours somehow ends up top 4, we basically got CJ, Val, and Devonte for 1 first and four seconds

It was part of the trade where the Pels dumped Adams and Bledsoe and got Jonás back. The Pels traded back from 10-17 and took Trey and also gave up the Lakers pick with top 10 protection. If the pick is top 10 the Grizzlies get 2nds instead.
