I watched a little of it. But I don't tend to put much stock into summer league performances (good or bad). Still, what I have seen and heard about him is promising.

And you shouldn't. His stats aren't the impressive thing, it's the athleticism and the touch on his shot. He passes the eye test pretty easily.

For a guy who played 5 mpg in college, it's hard to get a gauge on his talent
Before the SL everyone was acting like he was the guy from the air up there in regards to rawness. I think he's way past what people probably expected, thus the excitement

I don't think it is a "he's exceeded our expectations by being below average instead of terrible" situation though. I'm more of a stats guy than an eye test guy, but I see a lot of things he can build a game on. He certainly has a lot to prove and developing to do, but I'd be disappointed if he doesn't get there.

He's got nothing on Kevin Bacon

Is this roster I have quoted the most accurate?
Posted on 7/19/16 at 9:35 am to JohnZeroQ
Yes, those are the 14 guys we expect them to head into the season with. The only change would be if they decide to add a guy from SL, but the way those guys have played I doubt it.

whats everyone's best guess on starters?
PG: holiday
SG: moore? hield? galloway? qpon?
SF: hill? qpon? gee?
PF: davis
C: asik
so the jobs to be won are SG/SF?

Sounds like they either win the job or they platoon the position and rotate depending on the circumstances.

i would rather see defined roles...
i guess this will be a work in progress for a while though

Someone has to distinguish themselves or the coaching staff has to choose. Gonna take a little time to put it together. Should be fun though

I agree chesty. Our crunch time lineup, IMO should eventually be
Jrue
Hield
Qpon
Hill
AD
Not too shabby.

If we could dump Asik/Ajinca for a decent young athletic center, then this roster would be in good shape.
We just need someone who can run and grow with the team and eat up some C minutes for us.

Couldn't Diallo and Jones potentially fill that roll for us? I know it's asking a lot, but I'm hoping the potential meets production sooner rather than later for the team. Maybe I'm just overly optimistic
