Most assume Perkins is gone too. He didn't sign up for this shite.

We should always have a updated roster thread in the off season.

The various networks do not keep them up best I can tell

Cheick Diallo PF 6-9 220 Kansas

I'm hoping he can get close to 240, I have a feeling he's going to play 15-20mins a game!

If Diallo is playing 15-20 MPG then something not good happened, like Terrence Jones is a bust or Asik can't play up to even his normal standards. And I say that as a huge Diallo fan that's giddy as a schoolgirl about him.

You are correct. Clint Cappela, a similar prospect played a grand total of 90 minutes his rookie year, even though he looked very promising in spurts

Year 2, he was a good rotation player. Year 3, he projects to be a very good starter. I would be beyond thrilled with that same trajectory. Let DC and Jones eat up those minutes this year, then one or both are gone next year and Diallo gets those minutes. Then, Asik is gone by the following offseason and AD/Diallo are starting. That's the dream

I remember the year we drafted Brow following that CBB season close. I did not think we would get #1 so I had a short list of players I thought would be good for NOLA

T. Jones was one

What?

We have a Turk, a Frenchman, a Bahamian, and a Malian on the roster.

I honestly forgot we still have Perkins. I thought he was on a one year deal

He was, and the last bit of news on him was the Warriors were trying to figure out how to add him. He's not coming back unless nobody signs him and we get an injury early.

How optimistic are you that Diallo can turn into a starter? I figured I shouldn't hold out much hope for that ever happening.

Have you gotten to see him in SL? He's a great athlete and his jumper and touch around the basket have looked pretty good too. I think by year 3 he might still be too light in the arse to play Center, but 3 years from now I expect AD to be over 250 and a lot more comfortable playing there, letting Diallo play "PF", at least on defense. AD and Diallo together give you 2 long, agile defenders that can provide help defense and switching on the P&R. Erman was really pushing for Diallo and you can see why. Robert Pack said Diallo's help defense blocking ability reminded him of his former Nuggets teammate Dikembe Mutumbo.

Here are his highlights vs. the Jazz in SL when he had a 12/11/4 game LINK
