they can still dumpster dive for a PG and offer a 2 way to K Williams. He may not take it though. I liked K better than T Williams but who knows

Dell isn't done. He might not make a change this week, but he is looking for a PG or combo guard. Tyus Jones is the dream. Ty Lawson is a possibility. Milos possible. I wouldn't assume the roster is set yet.

Rosters must be set on Monday at 5 PM ET at the latest.
Which means teams must have no more than 15 roster spots taken (apart from two-way).
Dell - as MM mentioned - is working his phones now.
He will go with those 15 unless something materialize.
There is per-day cap hit for waiving NG players now (for NG active players, since players clear waivers withon 48 hours).
So f.e. if Dell will waive Troy on October 17th to sign Lawson - Pels will have small cap hit for 4 days...

Ppl keep mentioning Ty Lawson, but if he was on the cards then why didn’t they just sign him instead of JJ?
I'm hoping K. Williams agrees to a 2 way and they then sign a serviceable back up or even better trade Diallo for a fringe starting PG.

Dell had the ability to sign Ty. But decided not to.
Probably expected more from guards/wanted to look at the camp.
Personally I doubt that he will sign Lawson.
Tyus is a dream. I would offer a 2nd and Diallo for him. Or only second if Minny wont like Diallo.
I hope for 2 for 1 trade like MM proposed.
Ajinca and Diallo for Koufos.
Or my favourite idea.
Ajinca and Diallo for Shumpert and second. sacto clears more salary room to take bad salaries and gives us one of their late seconds.

With 50k guaranteed.
This is why he declined to take Denver's two way option. 50k guarantee and shot on a roster spot.
His contract still applies.

As to Koufos and Shumpert it is only for salary to use in midseason trade.
In case of Shump it might be a pick to use (f.e. to trade for Jones).
Koufos is very playable.
Shumpert is probably playable.
