Yes, there are a decent amount of rap threads. There are several geezers here that write it off as "not real music", but pay no mind.
What "old shite" are you referring to? I'm not much into more recent stuff, but the late 80's and 90's had some incredible artists.

Old rap had keys. They spoke or rhymed in a key. Today rap reminds me of bro-country. Generic beat with shite vocals and a formula.
