1969 Lineup:

The Who, Hendrix, Joplin, Dead, Airplane, Santana, CCR, Sly, The Band, CSN&Y

They should just fold up the tent with that shite line-up

These names should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Woodstock.

The Rumored Woodstock 50 Headliners Include Black Keys, Jay-Z, Imagine Dragons, ,Gary Clark Jr.,Cage the Elephant,The Killers,Greta Van Fleet, ,Portugal the Man, , and The Lumineers.

The list of artists performing at Woodstock 50 has not been officially released, but"Variety"is reporting that Dead & Company, the Black Keys,Jay-Z, and Chance the Rapper will be among the headliners.

Clearly, the festival isn't shying away from rap . . . and supposedly they're not pandering to the mainstream, it's just a nod to hip-hop's dominance in the 50 years since the original 1969 festival.

Other rumored performers include: The Raconteurs,Imagine Dragons,Run the Jewels,Gary Clark Jr.,Cage the Elephant,The Killers,Greta Van Fleet,Margo Price, Sturgill Simpson, Portugal the Man,Dawes, and The Lumineers.

Halsey,Miley Cyrus,Janelle Monae, and Brandi Carlile are also said to be finalizing deals to join in.

Robert Plant and Santanaare also in negotiations. The Grateful Dead and Santana both played legendary sets at the original . . . while Led Zeppelin declined.

Yikes that is terrible.

Woodstock 94 and 99 were way, way, way better. Legitimate rock acts were at those events.

Never should have been one in 94 or 99 much less 50 years later.

Eh, the one in '94 had a good lineup and seemed to go well. 99 was overkill and a disaster.

I mean, the north stage on Saturday had an insane lineup by itself.

I'd kill to go back in time and see a festival with all these bands, many 90's ones in their prime and some classics:

Blues Traveler
Live
Sheryl Crow
Collective Soul
Candlebox
Joe Cocker
Blind Melon
Cypress Hill
Melissa Etheridge
Crosby Stills Nash
NIN
Metallica
Aerosmith
Cranberries
The Band
Salt N Pepa
Arrested Development
Allman Bros
Spin Doctors
Porno for Pyros
Bob Dylan
RHCP
Peter Gabriel
Green Day,
Neville Bros
Santana
