Sure he looks and dresses like a complete tool but I actually like a lot of his songs. I think he loses a lot of fans because the songs he chooses as his singles mostly blow. Some of the better ones:
Black Tears
When She Says Baby
Drink One For Me
Church Pew Or Barstool
Keep The Girl
Back In This Cigarette
Who's Kissing You Tonight
This I Gotta See
See You When I See You
Black Tears
When She Says Baby
Drink One For Me
Church Pew Or Barstool
Keep The Girl
Back In This Cigarette
Who's Kissing You Tonight
This I Gotta See
See You When I See You

"1994" is, without a doubt, the worst song I have ever heard.
As I stated in another thread, I have to question the musical integrity of someone who would even CONSIDER recording that hot pile of garbage.
I have tons of friends in the biz who work their asses off to produce quality music and that assclown makes a mockery of something they work so hard for. It's disgusting.

Yep. First he had to read the lyrics and the thought occurred 'that's good enough to record'. Lastly, you record and listen to playback/final mix and say, 'frick yeah we nailed it.' Douchy just like the guy in the Corona commercial who says, 'Crushed it'.

I can't disagree with this but everyone has their duds. Aldean >> Chesney/McGraw types

This, not only do "artists" such as him mock true, hardworking artists but they also mock what real music is supposed to be about

Because most of his songs are: "Driving down a dirt road, pickup truck, pretty girl, drinking something, some agricultural crop, I'm country, George Jones, Johnny Cash or Lynyrd Synyrd."

while i'm not an aldean mega-fan, he's definitely better than some of the shitty obscure artists people post on here.

not a fan of this either, but 1994 is worse imo

This is like a blend of cranked up solid state amps, watered down kid rock, and some awkward white boy hip hop.
Just an awful awful song

In our defense, he's pretty fricking terrible.
But I do listen to some of his songs and I absolutely despise myself for liking of them

i like his music, but i was told he doesn't write any of it. brantley gilbert does. not sure if true though.
