I mean, I'm really not a fan of the genre, so I'm probably the wrong person to ask, but I think Chase Tyler is probably the best. His band has some seriously good musicians in it. Todd O'Neal has had the most mainstream success in Nashville.

I would say say Chase Tyler, Todd O’Neil, and the rest is a toss up. Heard the Clay Comier guy when he played with Tracey Lawrrance once and he was pretty darn good.

I agree with this.

Dude is seriously talented. I've heard his originals. If he gets the right people behind him, he might have a chance at some moderate Nashville success if he ever gets out of Lafayette.

I would say the same for Chase, I’ve seen him at the Texas club twice and he puts on a hell of a show with great vocals. I think if both get people behind them they go places. Both are better then Todd in my opinion

Chase has been doing the same thing for 20 years. I feel like if he was going to blow up, he would have done so already. However, one of my best friends is his sound guy and he's hearing some big time rumors that some BIG stuff is coming down the pipeline for Chase and his crew. They already play like 5 nights a week and all make enough money to play music full time, so I can only assume it means they're about to start touring more regionally.

All depends on how you look at it and what you like. PCL is definitely the youngest age out of the lot. Todd O’Neill is pursuing something completely different than chase tyler or PCL. Chase appeals to the middle aged LP trash, PCL has everything younger than that, including the college crowd. Todd O’neil has best musicians by far. Clay Cormier is making his own waves. Main difference between all of them is the parish County guys aren’t full time and just having fun. Also I heard their sponsored by anheiser bush, which makes me feel like they must have something good going for them

Let’s pump the brakes on this.
Chase Tyler markets themselves as a country band but unless they are at the Texas Club, they are a variety band.

PCL is a fun band to go see. You're going to know the songs, theres going to be a lot of good looking girls, and they have a good time with the music. Plus they have a steel guitar player which makes any band 5x cooler.

Sounds like maybe Monster's ex is now a PCL groupie.

you're either in PCL or you're casey mckenzie. either way, your posts reek of self promotion and desperation.

Every local band in BR has had BIG things coming down the pipe. That’s the BR/PR move of the century.

He must “know” a lot of people seen him on the field before a lot of games too.
That’s a better story than any one a local band has to offer. Haha

+1. They played Walkons after the Georgia game. I had a blast listening to them. I mean, who doesn't love great drinking songs?

Me and my wife saw them at Rice Festival last week in Crowley...it was a damn fun time. Are they some earth shattering band that is going to take Nashville by storm...naw. But they are fun to go see and listen to for cheap. They are playing at Bogie's after the Bama game.....20 year old me would have been all over that.
