Why are the Beatles seen as being so innovative when

White Room is better and more innovative than anything the Beatles ever wrote? It was recorded in the middle of 1967.

White Room is a good song but to say it is more innovative than anything the Beatles did is pure lunacy (IMHO). Badge is actually a better song than White Room.

also speaking of badge - 8/14/75 - did a quick google check with no luck but it is a good one with Santana, Keith Moon and Joe Cocker.

that may turn out to be pretty well known but IDK so I figured I'd throw it out there.

One of his defenses was that he and his bros went on a skiing trip and The Beatles weren't played a single time on the car ride
