Fake outlaw country. I was at DaC show at Rabbs in Ruston once. A fight broke out in the crowd and David Allen Coe ran off the stage so fast tou could have mistaken him for an Olympic sprinter.

Yeah, kind of killed his career.

I'm sure I will be corrected, but if memory serves he made the x-rated album after he built up some fame with his first album. A lot of people in the industry wouldn't touch him, so his career sort of plateaued.
