Plant can't hit the high notes any more and Page's hands probably don't work too good. Just remember them as they were.

What brought this on? Have there been any rumors of a reunion since the O2 concert over 10 years ago?

I do know that Page has been working on a box set for the 50th anniversary this year.

Classic Rock Magazine reports that odds-makers are heavily favoring Zep to be the top band on the bill, based on… some reissues?! Here's what Classic Rock is saying:

Bookmaker’s Betway say that Led Zeppelin are “clear favourites” to top the bill on the Pyramid Stage next year at 2/1, while Fleetwood Mac are currently sitting at 3/1.

Betway’s Alan Alger says: “Emily Eavis has previously spoken about her dream of getting Led Zeppelin to headline Glastonbury, and this year the odds suggest there’s a good chance of that becoming a reality at 2/1.

Were you listening to the Ticket in Dallas? I heard them talking about it today.

I'm seeing RfP tonight in Redmond, WA. I'll ask him if I get the op.

I agree although would still make an effort to go and see them if they ever had another reunion. They were known during their prime as being high energy and fueling that youthful movement that obviously it couldn't be the same now.

I even make an effort to go and see Jason Bonham's Zeppelin experience whenever they play near me.

I saw him a few years ago, I'm not saying he can hit the notes like he used to but he can still sing pretty well.
I would definitely go see him again. I don't think he's interested in doing a LZ reunion, seems to enjoy what he is doing right now.

Didn't get to talk to him but it was an outstanding show. I'm not an RFP or Zep fan, but the Shape Shifters material was really good. They did a bit of Zep stuff which was way better than when Zep did it. Great band!

They're the Milli Vinilli of hard rock. They never passed up the opportunity to rip off an old, dead, American Bluesman.

The Led Zep reunion rumor surfaces every year or two.

It builds up to a crescendo to where people are making plans to travel and buy tickets...then Robert Plant throws cold water on the whole thing.

It’s not gonna happen.

Which one sounded like Jimmy Page? Which one sang like Robert Plant?
Which one had a drummer like Bonham?

Specifics, please.

Yea but you get a "pass" when your son can play the gig. I do agree, no way Plant can sing that stuff any longer

Doesn't it seem like Plant takes more pride in his instrument and craft than Page does? Over the past 20 or so years, the only non-Zeppelin original thing I can think of Page doing is "Walking into Clarksdale" with Plant. I applaud Plant for charting his own roads.

All that being said, I'd pay $500 to see a re-formed Led Zeppelin.
