Duane Allman

This x 100. Can you imagine what the ABB could've done had Duane stuck around (they did pretty darn good without him)?

Also, it would've been nice had 1/2 of Lynyrd Skynyrd hadn't all died at once. The Gaines era of Skynyrd was just coming into it's own.

Holy shite I would be a filthy hippie and live on tour if the original Allman brothers were still in tact.

Brad. Shitty live performer due to his intoxication, but incredible studio creativity. There are a lot of haters of Sublime that really don't understand the fusion of sound they created that still influences many genres.
They did a good job with Tosh´s Legalize It.

Somebody said Sam Cooke earlier, and I agree. He could have been Michael Jackson big, and James Brown cool (in many respects), and his work would have spanned generations, IMNSHO.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Gary Moore. But he'd have to be able to still be an alcoholic, but not die from it.

He was one of the most emotive guitarists I've ever heard.
