Play many instruments. Primarily Double Bass.

I used to play the motherf'ing TUBA, bitches. Yeah, that's right. I said tuba. Actually, I kind of miss it (it's been like 13 years since I last played). Always wanted to make a living playing in a major symphony orchestra but it just wasn't realistic.
Also learned quite a few other instruments along the way before I switched to business (bass guitar, trombone, piano, baritone, trumpet, etc).
Definitely will give my future kids the chance to take music lessons if they ever want to...especially the boy. Gonna get him to learn guitar or drums then he'll be a rockstar and pay for my retirement. Yeahhhh.
Dreams are nice.

Played trumpet in middle and hs and was good enough for honor bands but not statewide or anything.
Seriously hope to pick one up from a pawn shop and re-learn some day when I'm older an want to entertain.... um annoy the grand kids.

The trumpet was once the "lead" instrument in popular music, just like the electric guitar.
Lots of potential for trumpet today, IMHO. There are many, many ways for a good trumpet to play in a money-making working band.
