I’ve always know about them but never gave them much of a listen. Checked them out a bit at the gym tonight and I’m pretty into their post Danzig stuff.

They are ok. I'm not a huge punk fan in general though.

I liked the Danzing misfits. The resurrected misfits 1st album I enjoyed. I was a young teenager when it came out. Was a fan of the guitar tone, which I found out later was played through a bass cabinet.

The first album I ever stole was Misfits collection 2. Was a cassette, I played it till it wore through the tape. That compilation album changed my life when I got into it, i still listen to the danzig misfits often.

Love all the Danzig stuff but my favorite album is probably Famous Monsters with Graves.

I understand they were influential to so many bands, thus I give them their respect, but I don't necessarily care to listen to them - and I consider myself a punk rock aficionado!

It just feels very sloppy and rudimentary even outside the normal punk standards haha. The imagery and subject matter is cool though.

I like old school punk rock, but I have to be in the mood to listen to the Misfits. They aren't a band I can just listen to whenever. My father-in-law is an old school punk rocker and he is a fan. He told me that the Misfits were the loudest concert he's ever been to.

Love the early Danzig stuff, as others have said, but also like some tracks from the post-Danzig era...like Dust to Dust for example.

It’s fun catchy punk that’s also a bit nostalgic for me.

Danzig solo is far better produced and just heavier and groovier and darker music. Punk evolved into metal. Win.

Given my favorite kinds of music it seems like I should be a fan but they just never have struck a chord with me. I have a mint Plan 9 copy of Earth AD that I got when I was a kid and it has stayed mint because I never listen to it.

I love the early stuff with Danzig. I got a few of the singles when they were coming out and I'm into the first couple of albums/comps. Bullet and Where Eagles Dare are two of my favorites. Suck suck Jackie suck.
