Too many great tracks to choose from but I have to go with Rosetta Stoned.
I'm the same way. I listen to them all but I always come back to Rosetta Stoned

Wings for Marie, part 2. The song shows Maynard’s realization of his mother’s death and her strength in religion. Great tune.

The depth of emotion they're able to tap into is amazing.

Absolute truth. I think that’s why I say opiate is my favorite. It started my journey into the world of Tool.

So absolutely true. Very few tracks that I cannot listen to on a regular basis. However Lateralus as a whole is just phenomenal.

I've listened to it to and from work for probably a month solid. Just a phenomenal album.

Stinkfist. We were actually able to use that as our pep rally "entrance music" in high school because the coach and headmaster had no idea what he was actually singing about

Reflection is a damned fine song, too.

Reflection and Disposition have been hitting hard lately.

Along with The Patient, Parabol/a, and Lateralus.

The quintessential Tool song. Like if you had to sum up their sound in one song that would be it.

Pushit.

I have this clear memory of being at voodoo in 2001 front rail getting CRUSHED because of the too many people pushing (Maynard even addressed this between songs) and when the song climaxs I let out a huge breath and jumped on the crowd and surfed out. Just an awesome life moment.

Probably Stinkfist. I know there are probably "better" Tool songs in the eyes of others, but I was in the right place at the right time in the right headspace when I'd first heard Stinkfist, so I owe some debt to that song lol...

Stinkfist is what got me in, as I'm sure many others when it made some radio play years ago. Seeing them live got me into 46&2, Pushit, Lateralus, Schism, etc. I'm still fairly mainstrain fan, not too far into the deeper tracks, just love the sound that 3 guys can make combined with Maynard.
