Got an old Takamine N-10, made in Japan, solid cedar top mahogany back and sides, very little pretty stuff, doesn't even have any inlay at all on the fretboard. It only has some black inlay around the soundhole, that might look similar to an old Japanese flag, done in black.. to some people, satin finish that feels perfect. It has a nice MOP inlay on the headstock that also has some gold leaf mixed in somehow. It has Gold plated tuners with orangish pink turtle shell grips. The neck is as straight as a laser beam, the action is set where it almost plays itself, and it sounds so perfect, and is never out of tune.
I think that's my real dream guitar, and I snagged it at a pawnshop for a coupe hundred bucks. I've got other guitars and I play them sometimes, but every time I come back to that one, It's like coming home.
Sometimes, I think I want it a little brighter on the higher notes, and next time I restring it, I'm gonna go a little lighter on just the B and G strings and see how that works. Might have to back off of the truss rod a little, but that's ok.

That's beautiful. How does it sound and play?

No idea, because it’s only a dream.
I saw it for sale online for $149,999.
I’m going to assume my wife would NOT be happy if I bought it. Not that she wouldn’t think the guitar was beautiful, but she definitely wouldn’t like living in a tent.

I guess that's hard for me to wrap my head around. I see some guitars online or whatever, that I think are beautiful, but I don't really start wanting a guitar until I play it and hear it. That's why I've never bought a guitar online. Just a couple of build it yourself kits.
