yes, Jan 19th River Center ....

Wait BB King is coming to BR? I saw he was going to Houston. Tickets on sale?

I'm going to see The Robert Cray Band next Sunday at Harrah's. Got tickets to The XX in Feb. Going to try and hit BUKU and The Shakes show. Galactic next Friday at the Maple Leaf.

The Anders Osborne last Friday night at Tips was prob the best show of the year.

Damn BB King in BR on the 19th, then at Tips on the 20th! i think I'd much rather see BB at Tips than the River Center...

Jealous! They put on a great show. If you happen to catch the drummer afterwards he'll probably share his whiskey with you...

I'll leave that for you. Opening band is Quaildogs from Atl .. They're good. One more Fat Tire, they'll be great.

More for me

Seriously, though, have an awesome time. I won't get to see them again until at least February. :(

Just saw Brian Setzer's Christmas at the Ryman. He's in Houston tonight. Kickin' night of rock-a-billy, big-band horns, and Christmas jam! Great concert!

I had listened to them (spotify) some, so I knew musically what to expect. Live, they bring a great energy to their music.

I had never bothered to look at a picture of the actual band members. I was somewhat suprised by the short, well-groomed haircuts .. almost like early day Beach Boys. Their lyrics had created long hair, rough looking kinds in my mind's eye. Lead singers arms being tatted up was incongruent with the haircut; not in bad way, just interesting.
