Whatever happened to the Gillis Silo?

Last I heard, there was talk of a breakup. Would’ve thought they could’ve lasted locally being that there are zero country bands besides Parish County Line.

They brokeup and the lead singer went solo. He plays a lot of acoustic stuff now. Supposedly the breakup was rooted in some dirty dealings by their manager who was stealing from the band, and then did what he could to turn the members of the band against one-another to keep them from noticing.

Gillis Silo’s fan base was middle-aged LP trash. PCL’s fan base has been and still is mostly college kids imo. They played frat parties and college bars when I was at LSU.
Gillis Silo story all BS. When someone steals money there is usually proof. Ask the other band members how they feel. No better place to find the truth about a lead singer than the guys that have to put up with his shite.
