Are there any areas of the drive from BR to Oak Mountain I need to definitely drive the speed limit if I have a ridiculous amount of narcotics in the car?

Only thing I definitely know of is to drive the speed limit and DO NOT follow cars to closely anywhere near Montgomery on the drive from OB to OM. The entire metro area is a speed trap, and I'm sure the cops know that people will be on Phish tour.

i still cant wrap my head around why phish tours that piece of shite state. texas would be better and the cops arent as terrible, they have other things to worry about than wooks smoking weed

Yea I'm probably driving and I told the dickheads riding with me no weed

Atleast if we get pulled over we can dump the cocaine in a water bottle and eat all the dirty arse jigs and roll our tits off the rest of the ride

I don't know about that. Plus Texas has pretty strict drugs laws.

I just wish all 3 shows were at the same venue.

i lived there two years. they are less strict than louisiana. ive never gotten more than a warning. theyve got more to worry about than people smoking weed in a lot.

not really a speed trap but the limit drops to 55 so slow down for sure.

When driving to Jazz fest, I always drive the speed limit through Miss. I worry about that most. There really aren't many cops in between Montgomery and Mobile, or people for that matter.

Mississippi has the most liberal drug laws in the south. Marijuana possession is a $100 citation.

Yea I was coming from the point of view that I see many more troopers lining the roads in MS than AL/LA but yea, you are correct on the laws.

AL can barely afford pay troopers. I wish I was kidding.

Alright last question. Anywhere awesome to eat lunch between BR and Birmingham? Probably closer to Birmingham, I think we're leaving early in the morning so we'll be most of the way there by lunch time.

Bates House of Turkey in Greenville, AL is not bad

right off the interstate (to your left coming N, 45 minutes S of Montgomery)

There's not a lot in Montgomery just off the interstate, without having to take to much time.

Yeah, I am really on the fence about Alpharetta. I'll probably make the decision after Sat's show.

Cops in the lot will be rough as in the show. But from what I remember they don't search you that hard at the gate

Pelham police are horrid. Like CP said, random at gate. Turn yourself invisible and you'll slide right through.

Pelham will reddog you. Long hair narcs etc.
