I’ve been going to see and listening to the same bands for the past 30 years. I just can’t get into anything new.

I was a teenager in the '80s so the so-called hair band era is pretty much right in my wheelhouse.

1982 was the year I ditched classic rock and started up with punk/new wave/alternative whatever you wanna call it. From then to the late 80s there were great opportunities to see future legends in small clubs for only a few bucks cover.

Pigs is on one of the greatest albums of all time. My teenager even likes it. That’s tough to get out of teens these days.

Only 5 tracks and it’s awesome.

Seeing as I’m only 30, my favorite musical years are when I was in middle school/early high school. That 2003-2006 time frame produced so many of my favorite albums. Audioslave, Yellowcard, Alter Bridge, Greenday, Incubus, Blink 182, Tool, Foo Fighters, etc all made huge albums in this final moment of rock being a part of mainstream pop culture.

I know Roger floods the world with The Wall but I honestly think Animals was his best work with Floyd. That album will never get old and honestly, Dogs is a top 5 Pink FLoyd tune for me

Indie music of the 90’s to early 2000’s was the soundtrack to my teenage years, and my transition into young adulthood.

Think I’ll put it on and wallow in it for a bit. Wife will be thrilled.

probably the indie rock scene in the early 90s... mainly because that is when I went to a ton of shows and met many life long friends...

Same for me. New Wave from the early 80s is my favorite genre. But I also think that Disco gets a bad rap, love post punk, and pretty much anything that falls into the "Yacht Rock" genre(even though I hate calling it that).
