Personally I’ve gotta go with The Oak Ridge Boys American Made

John Paul George and Ringo
consider the original compositional vocal arrangements those guys came up with at the ages they did it

The entire reason The Eagles were a success prior to Felder is their harmonies. Like them or not, any configuration of 4 or 5 of them in the 1970s was magic.
Seven Bridges Road
Fleetwood Mac with Buckingham, Nicks and McVie exchanging leads and harmonies was outstanding as well.
I actually prefer the Statler Brothers to the Oak Ridge Boys, but I like both.

check out some of the isolated vocals by John and Paul.
My entry would be The Traveling Wilburys.
End of the line
Handle with care

Basically the Australian version of Poco or the pre-Felder Eagles. Great, great harmonies.
My favorite - Cool Change

I have not followed the Eagles, so I have to ask: what did Felder do/change?

Felder was a guitar prodigy raised in that fertile Gainesville music scene of the 1960s who just never ended up in a band that "made it". He was raised with/around the Allman Brothers, worked with Stephen Stills, Bernie Leadon before any became famous and even taught a teenaged Tom Petty some chords.
So, when Leadon asked him to come in to amp up the band's rock sound for one track, it was One of These Nights. Not long after they invited him to join the band. He brought songs like Hotel California into the band and, ultimately, with Joe Walsh changed them from a nice, country/folk rock, Poco or Flying Burrito Brothers sounding act into a legitimate rock and roll outfit.
And while not a great lead singer, like all of the Eagles of the 1970s, he was a great harmony vocalist.

Bobby Kimball, Steve Lukather, David Paich on Rossana. About as perfect harmonies as you will hear prior to Pro Tools.
Also, The Beach Boys were incredibly gifted and talented in the vocal department.

Henley and Frey remained pissed for years that Felder wrote Hotel California.

Great, great harmonies as well (and, while we're on the subject of David Crosby, the Byrds weren't bad either.)
And, to tie it together, Felder had a strong association with both Stills and CSN(Y).

Speaking of the Motown sound, I badly wanted to be a Pip when I grew up.
Turns out, whiter than sour cream, no discernible singing talent and the inability to dance in any way is not a great combination for a Pip.
