Mark Tremonti is a great humble, fan-friendly guy, btw. And an FSU guy too. I have a pic of him and Pimp Jr. on the fridge. He was always one of the most naturally melodic guitar players in the business, you have to give him that, even if he was in a band that violated your Cheese Quotient.

In the final Buried Alive solo, I believe he said one section was actually SRV "Texas Flood" inspired. New Way to Live is one of my favorite songs ever. Very haunting. He also said he actually messed up during the first section recording of the Come to Life solo, but the producer and band dug the "screw up" so he kept it on the album.

I enjoy Alterbridge I think Myles Kennedy is one of the better rock singers of late.

I don't think they're awesome or anything, but I like Alterbridge. "Broken Wings" is a sweet tune.
