Shiny Happy People

You know I still count R.E.M. as my favorite band ever based on their 80s music but "Shiny Happy" was the biggest musical belly-drop I've ever experienced. It went from loving R.E.M. to absolutely fricking hating them with a passion overnight. The whole Out Of Time album just made me want to murder people. I've actually come to be okay with "Losing My Religion" over the years but I still despise that album overall. I'll never ever voluntarily hear it and if it's playing at a party I'll very likely either get out of earshot or leave altogether. I hate it just that much.

Well said, but I do love Texarkana. One of the very few post Life's Rich Pageant songs I actually like.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but that "Flag Pole Sitta" song from the 90's has to be up there.

Pearl Jam - Last Kiss. And it's not even close.
