do you even gwen stefani?

have you actually listened to one of her albums?

Between Mung and my wife I am subjected to that garbage more than anyone should be. She has no voice and chooses terrible songs.

always found gwen sexy.

Yeah "Hollaback" is atrocious. The fact that the singer is attractive has frickall to do with frickall.

I think it's funny that "We Built This City" gets all the hate when it was followed a couple years later by "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" which is about a million times worse.

Another awful song from that era: "My Heart Needs a Second Chance" by 38 Special.

The song was written by Stefani, Pharrell Williams, and Chad Hugo as a response to Courtney Love's statement that Stefani was a "cheerleader" in an interview with Seventeen magazine.

The song was released as the album's third single on March 15, 2005, and was one of the year's most popular songs, peaking inside the top ten on the majority of the charts it entered. It reached number one in Australia and the United States, where it became the first digital download to sell one million copies. "Hollaback Girl" received several award nominations, including Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year at the 48th Grammy Awards, yet it divided pop music critics. The CD single bears a "Parental Advisory: Explicit Content" label, although the album does not. The song serves as the opening track of the 2005 compilation album Now That's What I Call Music!

Cotton Eyed Joe

I remember in the 90's when some 102.5 WFMF DJ who got fired played this literally all night long until they forced him out of the studio.

Amazingly it has over 17m views on youtube.

Sometimes, the bad songs revive.

Surfin' Bird was a bad song when released, but it came back with Full Metal Jacket and again when Peter danced to it on Family Guy.
